The paper identifies important research challenges in software technologies to be addressed in Horizon Europe in order to feed and sustain the innovation and solution deployment pipeline for digital products, services and business models and thus to secure and strengthen the European innovation capabilities in a digital world. > NESSI Contribution to the ICT Proposers' day 2018

The European Commission, in partnership with the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, organized the ICT Proposers’ Day on 4-6 December 2018 in Vienna, Austria. The event centred on European Union’s priorities in the digital transformation of society and industry. It will present an opportunity for the people involved in this transformation to share their experience and vision of Europe in the digital age. ICT 2018 will have four main components converging around the theme Imagine Digital – Connect Europe: Conference, Exhibition, Networking opportunities and Innovation and Startups forum.NESSI will contribute to the event participating in two different networking panels: "Software Beyond H2020", which will be based on the Thought Leadersnhip paper, led by Josef Urban (NOKIA, and NESSI Board Chair); and the second one titled "Thrustworthy Software, Services and Data Connecting Everyone, Everywhere" led by Bjørn Skjellaug (SINTEF, NESSI Partner).
